N Korean Chief Nuclear Negotiator Arrives

Kim Kye-gwan, chief negotiator of North Korea for the six-party talks, arrived in Beijing Monday morning for a discussion with the Chinese side.

 

He made no comment when he arrived at the Capital International Airport.

 

Chun Yung-woo, chief negotiator of South Korea to the six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula, also arrived in Beijing Monday afternoon.

 

Chun said upon arrival that he would meet with Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei, also chief negotiator to the talks, on Tuesday morning. Chun would leave Beijing on Tuesday afternoon.

 

The two top negotiators from North Korea and South Korea may have a meeting, said Chun.
