China and Britain held their second round of strategic dialogue on Friday, with both sides exchanging views on current international situation, Sino-Britain and Sino-EU relations.
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui and Simon McDonald, advisor to British Prime Minister on foreign and defence issues, and Jon Cunliffe, advisor on international economic affairs and Europe, attended the dialogue.
The two sides agreed to continue to consolidate bilateral relations, keep high-level visits, deepen mutually-beneficial cooperation, and strengthen coordination in major international affairs so as to push ahead China-Britain comprehensive strategic partnership.
The first round of this bilateral meeting was held in December of 2005.
