Chinese Construction Minister Wang Guangtao arrived in Addis Ababa Saturday to start his four-day official visit to Ethiopia, aiming to further improve bilateral cooperation in the field of infrastructure development.
During his visit, the Chinese minister will hold talks with Ethiopian government officials on the issue of improving bilateral cooperation in infrastructure development and other issues of common concerned.
Besides, the minister will tour Tigray, the northern state of Ethiopia and attend the operating ceremony of the Tekeze Hydro-Power Project which is being constructed by the China National Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Corporation at the total cost of some US$224 million.
The Chinese minister is scheduled to leave here for China on August 14.
