A three-day annual meeting of the China Arms Control and Disarmament Association and seminar on arms control concluded in Beijing Today.
Some 160 delegates from the association, relevant governmental departments and research institutions are expected to discuss issues including the international security situation, global strategic framework, multilateral arms control process and prospects, international non-proliferation and major powers' cooperation in the area.
Vice-Premier Qian Qichen addressed the opening ceremony, which was chaired by Li Daoyu, president of the association.
