Recep Tayyip Erdogan, chairman of Turkey's ruling party, the Justice and Development Party, will pay an official visit to China from Jan. 14-17, 2003, at the invitation of the Chinese government.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue announced this in Beijing Tuesday at a regular press conference.
