Chinese Vice-Premier Qian Qichen met with a delegation from the US National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP) in Beijing Tuesday.
At their request, Qian briefed his guests on such issues as Sino-US ties and the "three direct links" of mail, air and shipping services across the Taiwan Strait.
The US guests, led by NCAFP President George Schwab, have come to visit China at the invitation of the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations.
