US Secretary of State Colin Powell said on Tuesday that a total of 45 countries support the United States in the looming war against Iraq.
Powell said 30 of those countries, which have offered military and logistical assistance, will join in the "coalition of the willing," while the 15 others declined to be named.
According to the US State Department, those countries include Afghanistan, Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Britain, Bulgaria, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Hungary, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
