Japan Urged to Be ‘Very Prudent’ in Taking Military Action Overseas
China hopes Japan will be "very prudent" in taking any military action overseas, Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan said in Beijing Thursday.

Kong made the remarks at a regular press conference when asked by a Japanese correspondent to comment on the Japanese government's outspoken support for the US military actions against Iraq.
