State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met in Beijing with a delegation from the Japan-China Friendship Association Wednesday afternoon led by Ikuo Hirayama, the association's president and one of Japan's most celebrated painters.
Tang had a sincere and friendly talk with the Japanese guests on the issue of boosting friendly Sino-Japanese ties in the new century.
