Two people were killed while over 20 others were wounded after two grenades went off in a mosque in the southern Philippine province of North Cotabato on Friday, the military's public information office said.

The military's public information chief Colonel Daniel Lucero told reporters that no suspect has been arrested so far, citing initial reports from the site of blast in Midsayap town in the province.

A separate report said the victims were holding a service in the mosque not far from the local airport when the two grenades exploded.
