Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong met in Beijing Wednesday with Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong.
Zeng said bilateral relations were fairly good with concerted efforts by the two sides.
With more high-profile visits, Zeng said the two countries had increased their mutual trust and understanding.
He said the two sides closely cooperated with each other on personnel training in recent years, which had become a new focus for the bilateral partnership.
Goh said that the cooperation on personnel training would benefit the overall relationship between the two countries.
