Senior officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) on Tuesday held talks on party organization and other issues of common concern.
He Guoqiang, a member of the Political Bureau and head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, said to his Vietnamese counterpart Tran Dinh Hoan that recent years have seen new progress in the exchanges between the CPC and CPV in country governance and socialist construction.
He said exchanges between the organization departments of the two parties form an important part of the exchanges between the two nations and the two parties, hoping the exchanges will be further developed to consolidate the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
He briefed the guests on China's economic development and Party building.
Hoan said the Vietnamese and Chinese people have forged deep friendship in history, and the CPV is ready to further enhance friendly exchanges with the CPC to further promote the two nations' ties.
