Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, met in Beijing Monday with Raul Valdes Vivo, president of the Party School of the Cuban Communist Party Central Committee.

Wang reviewed his goodwill visit to Cuba several days ago and spoke highly of the relations between the two parties and two countries, expressing his appreciation for achievements made in Cuba's socialist construction.

The two sides exchanged views on socialist theory, party building and other issues of common concern.
