Shanghai Issues Employment Certificates to Foreigners

The Shanghai Labor and Social Security Bureau said on April 1 it issued 25,224 employment certificates to foreigners last year, a 14.5 percent year-on-year increase.
The bureau also received 33,801 employment applications from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao staff. More than 700 overseas companies and international organizations from 44 countries and regions have set up representative offices in Shanghai, the bureau's statistics show.
