China is working hard to move from paper to electronic air tickets before 2007.
The test work is going smoothly and China might reach its goal ahead of the date set by the International Air Transport Association, China Radio International reported Sunday.
The association recently proposed to cancel paper tickets around the world before 2007.
A Chinese expert says the change is not difficult, and only requires a move of customers' personal information from paper tickets to computers.
For passengers, E-tickets are more convenient and can be picked up upon arrival at the airport, rather than days or weeks in advance.
