World's first 3C integrated TV developed by China's largest color TV producer Changhong was on sale today. This new product marks that China's color TV industry has given birth to a globally advanced product that combines consumer electronics, computer and communications.
Besides common functions as TV and PC displayer, this new product can also serve as a "video telephone" to facilitate face-to-face "zero distance" communication among people in different places. Users can freely change the position of pictures on the screen and save them.
This new product is a common fruit of Changhong, which has 90 million users worldwide, and China's most important telecom operator China Telecom.
Combination of TV and video telephone makes TV a household multimedia terminal and reduces the cost of terminal products.
It is another momentous achievement of Changhong in its cross-industry cooperation with China Telecom, Microsoft and Shanda Interactive Entertainment Ltd. and manifests Changhong's successful transition from a traditional household electric appliance manufacturer to personal and household information product and service provider.
