China has sucessfully tested its new 120 ton-grade rocket engine with liquid oxygen/kerosene propellants for 600 seconds, CRI reported Tuesday.
The new rocket engine, with 60 percent higher efficiency than current ones, will be the hope for China's future space exploration.
It will be used to carry out the second stage of China's manned-space missions, space labs and large satellites.
