Hefei, capital of the eastern Anhui province, is to host an international information technology exposition from April 21 to 23 next year to promote its IT growth.
Jointly hosted by the Provincial Information Industry Department and Hefei city government, the event will showcase the latest technology in computer engineering, network and home network systems, "intelligent" cards, office automation, data processing, IT service platforms and other related sectors.
The three-day exposition will include a conference on information technology with the themes of network carriers' communication solutions, personal mobile communication, network and data traffic solutions, e-commerce, and a demonstration of on-line sales and information management.
The province has seen a steady growth in information network infrastructure construction during the last few years and hopes to catch up with the progressive IT regions such as neighboring Jiangsu province.
