An engineer of Intel company displays a mini cellular phone CPU chip with integrated calculating, communicating and memory function in Beijing, Feb. 13, 2003.
With a length and width of 12 mm, a thickness of 1.2 mm, the chip coded PXA800F is the first of its kind in the world. It has adopted "wireless-internet-on-a-chip" technology integrating main modules of mobile phone and palm computer into one single chip, so that it enables people to produce more powerful mobile phones, longer battery service time, more creative design and lower cost of production.
