China Develops New Machine to Treat Tumors
The Super Gamma System is the first machine with gamma stereotactic radio-therapy in the world to treat both brain and body cancers.

A new medical instrument for the treatment of tumors has been developed by Chinese scientists, representing a technological breakthrough that can help save more lives and improve the quality of life for cancer patients.

A senior engineer in charge of development Liu Guangwu, says the Super Gamma System is the first machine with gamma stereotactic radio-therapy in the world to treat both brain and body cancers. He added that the system also boasts high precision, limited side effects and strong radioactivity.

The new instrument, developed by Shenzhen Hyper Technology Company, and Shenzhen Jiancheng Investment Company, has received a production permit from the State Drug Administration. It has also obtained independent intellectual property rights.
