The First Shantou International Plastics Exposition will be held on Nov. 20-23 at Lim Por-Yen International Conference and Exhibition Center in Shantou city, south China's Guangdong Province.
The exposition, to be co-hosted by the China Petrochemical Industrial Association, the Foreign Cooperation Center of the Chemical Industry and the Shantou city government, will provide about 600 booths to exhibit advanced plastics technology and products.
Trade fairs will also be held to attract large domestic and foreign petrochemical enterprises.
Shantou is China's largest wrapper material distribution center. An official from the exposition organizing committee said the plastics exposition would become an annual event, and enterprises from Japan, Singapore, the United States, and the Republic of Korea would participate in the first exposition, with over 200 booths already booked.
