The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) has published three reports on Chinese and international scientific and technological advancements.
Wang Jixiang, president of the CAS-affiliated Science Press which published the reports, said the books provide information about the latest developments in science and technology overseas and at home to the general public and decision-makers.
Since 1998, the CAS has published seven sets of annual reports, with more than 100,000 copies.
Science Development Report includes suggestions and proposals for the country's comprehensive development strategy and policies. In addition to briefing on Nobel Prize-winning achievements, the book elaborates the advanced research made by Chinese scientists in 11 areas.
High Technology Development Report focuses on China's information technology and its global competitiveness.
Strategic Report: China's Sustainable Development contains discussion works in sustainable development, development dividend theory, development mode from knots to networks and lessons from the European Union.
