The ninth China international ship and marine technology fair will open in Shanghai next Wednesday, according to the Shanghai Ship Industry Association, one of the organizers.

Over 120 manufacturers and boating club operators from a dozen countries and regions, including the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and the Netherlands have registered to attend the four-day fair.

During the fair, the participants will bring high-speed ships, yachts, and exhibition facilities to demonstrate on the famous Huangpu River that runs through the city.

In the meantime, a number of forums and seminars, as well as promotion functions on new boats and technology will also be organized at the fair.
