Ivanovic likely to quit Qatar Open due to injury
Adjust font size:

Top seed Ana Ivanovic might withdraw from the on-going Qatar Open due to an ankle injury suffered in her third round match on Wednesday.

The Serb, who reached last month's Australian Open final, slipped on the baseline and collapsed in agony with just two points from victory against Olga Govortsova of Belarus.

Although the 18-year-old sensation was able to wrap up the match, she was clearly in pain, unable to walk properly.
