At least six people drowned and 10 others were missing after a ferry capsized in Kangsha river in Bangladesh's northern district of Netrokona, about 200 km from capital Dhaka.
Police said the ferry with over 100 passengers mostly goat traders sank when a motor launch hit it from behind Friday midnight.
Six bodies have so far been recovered while 10 people were missing. Other passengers swam ashore.
The rescuers are trying to salvage the sunken vessel from 10- meter deep water.
