The fourth China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition is to launch a day earlier than previously scheduled in Zhuhai City in southern China.
The grand opening ceremony will take place on Nov. 3 and the show will run until Nov. 7.
A total of 1,200 industry experts and guests as well as participants from 28 countries and regions will attend the air show, according to the show's organizing committee.
The exhibition will highlight China's latest achievements in aerospace industry, including the display of "Shenzhou" unmanned spacecraft models.
Hu Hongfu, executive deputy general manager of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, said more than 150 exhibits were ready for the exhibition and would be transported to Zhuhai on Oct. 30.
The exhibition is a biennial event in Zhuhai, one of China's five special economic zones. The first show was held in 1996.
