Heavy fog began blanketing most parts of northeast China's Liaoning Province Sunday evening, affecting local traffic.
Sources with the Shenyang meteorological station, capital of Liaoning, said visibility in urban areas was below 500 meters.
The city's traffic department has received several reports of minor traffic accidents, but no injuries.
Meteorologists said the fog was caused by warmer weather after several cold days.
Weather forecasters say foggy weather will continue through Monday morning in southern parts of the province.
