Ski Invitation
A Beijing Shijinglong Expats Ski competition will be held at Shijinglong Ski Slopes on December 21.

This is the second time that such an event has been held. The competition (which is just for fun) is only open to foreigners living in Beijing.

Sponsored by China Daily, Beijing Weekend, the local government of Yanqing County and Shijinglong Ski Slopes, this year's event offers winners different prizes like snowboards, ski suits and jackets.

Buses leave the downtown at 8:30 am on December 21. We will leave for Shijinglong at 9:00 am and hope to arrive at around 10 am. You can take part in the competition or simply enjoy a leisurely day on the slopes.

Lunch time: noon. Lunch will be courtesy of a five-star hotel. After lunch, you can return to the slopes until 3 pm.

An awards ceremony for competition participants will be held at 3:30. We will return to downtown at 4 pm.

You can also drive to the destination yourself and sign up at Shijinglong Ski Slopes.

Cost: 300 yuan (US$36) per person. The fee includes transportation, lunch and afternoon tea offered by five-star Hotel, plus rental for ski equipment.

Reservation is essential so that we can arrange bus seats and ski facilities for you.

Subject to availability: 30.

To join the event, please email: mrlijing@263.net or edgarlee@263.net.

For more information, please contact 6492-4488 ext 2305 or 13611160678 and ask for Li Jing
