Locals will be deprived of the brilliant spring sunshine this week, meteorologists said yesterday. Under the control of a low pressure trough and a weak cold front, showers and thunder storms may prevail through Thursday, according to the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
However, temperatures won't drop much. Today's high is expected to be 21 degrees Celsius, while the low could be 15 degrees. Yesterday, the mercury touched at 28.9 degrees, only 3 degrees short of the record set in 1945 for this time of the year.
