Beijing Parks Extend Schedules
In the battle against SARS, people are realizing the importance of maintaining general health as a preventive measure. Starting from Sunday, most parks in the capital city Beijing will follow new schedules to let people engage in more outdoor activities.

Parks will continue selling entry tickets until 9 pm- two hours later than before.

Most parks in the city proper will open no later than 6 am, stop selling tickets no earlier than 9 pm, and close no earlier than 10 pm.

Parks within the Forth Ring Road will implement the new schedule, including Beihai, Jingshan, Zhongshan, Zizhuyuan, Yuyuantan and Taoranting with the Beijing Zoo the only exception.

Parks in the suburbs will implement new schedules in the near future.
