Officials from the Beijing Tourism Bureau and the Berlin Tourism Marketing Company signed an agreement here Wednesday to strengthen tourism cooperation between the two capital cities.
Beijing and Berlin will introduce the tourism items of the other party, and provide such information to tourists, travel agencies and the media, according to the agreement.
The two sides will provide free information to each other concerning the tourism market, while offering necessary assistance to tourists in each other's cities.
Experts say that the two cities can supplement each other in terms of culture, history and natural scenery. The envisaged cooperation can thus set up a new model for the international tourism market.
