First Train Runs in Yangzhou

The first train ever has departed from Yangzhou city in east China's Jiangsu Province.

Trains from the historic city to Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Xi'an have all begun trial operation.

The new rail service will ease traffic congestion in the city and bring more business opportunities, as an international economic and tourism festival currently going on there.
