Statistics from the National Tourism Administration indicate that the Chinese government has given the green light to a total of 63 countries and regions for accepting Chinese tourists.
Recently, Zimbabwe in Africa and Romania in Europe have signed agreements with China to become destinations for Chinese tourists.
Moreover, China has signed similar agreements with Brazil in South America, Norway in Europe and Tanzania in Africa, as well as ten more European Union countries.
It is expected these travel agreements will greatly boost the tourism market in China.
In addition, there are still 28 countries and regions that Chinese tourists currently can travel to, while other countries wait for final approval.
