An official of the Republic of Korea (ROK) delegation said Thursday that the six parties will hold separate talks at afternoon's meeting.
Jeong Woo-jin, an official with the Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministry, released the news at a short briefing this afternoon, but refused to give any details.
"Thursday morning's meeting started at 10:30 a.m. and lasted to 14:10 p.m.," he said.
Delegations discussed the keynote speeches delivered by each side on Wednesday, expressed their own views and expounded their positions during the meeting, he said.
He said the six parties will hold bilateral or trilateral talks in the afternoon.
Reports said that before the talks started this morning, the United States, ROK and Japan held trilateral meetings in the US embassy in China.
