The project is a cultural exchange initiative from the State Council Information Office in collaboration with LinkedIn to invite participants from around the world to explore China by experiencing everyday lives of its working people.

The October season, hosted by China Intercontinental Press, will be the third.

The project will select more than 20 participants to take on various tasks in Sichuan, Hunan and Hainan provinces as well as other regions around China. They will join the ranks of forest rangers and witness China's forest protection efforts and green development. They will also work as five-star hotel managers and airline stewardesses and learn about China's rapidly growing service sector.

The experiences of these participants will be filmed for a TV series called "My Chinese Working Day." The show will be broadcasted through many multimedia channels around the world.

The organizer of the event also encourages the participants to share their experiences on social media platforms including Sina Weibo, China's twitter-like service, as well as Facebook and LinkedIn. During the project's second season, online media reports about the project received over 68 million clicks.
