Typhoon Nanmadol makes landfall over the southern part of Fujian Province on Tuesday and brings heavy rainfal to the area. Typhoon Nanmadol weakened to a tropical storm at around 10 a.m. Monday after making landfall in Taiwan at 4:25 a.m. Monday. It then moved northwest at a speed of 10 km per hour, according to the observatory in Zhejiang, Fujian's neighboring province. [Xinhua]
