Drought hits China's largest freshwater lake

A fishermen is fishing in Poyang Lake, East China's Jiangxi province on Sept. 7, 2011. The water surface of the Poyang Lake, which sits along the Yangtze River, has contracted to 974 square km, far from the annual average of about 2,890 square km since 2000.
Local fishermen's income has decreased 60 percent since less and less fish in the low level water.
