Flood batters Chongqing Municipality

Photo taken on Sept. 20, 2011 shows cars are inundated by flood in Hechuan District of southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. Due to the rain-triggered flood here, more than 20 schools have suspended their classes for five days. By 10:00 p.m. on Sept. 19, the flood damaged 2,080 houses and affected 235,000 people, including 83,000 evacuees.
