Cinder is transported to a designated area in Shuozhou, north China's Shanxi Province, Oct. 31, 2012. As a city relying on coal power, Shuozhou has three major thermal power plants in its Shentou district. The thermal power plants emit some three million tons of coal ash each year. The pulverized fuel ash reclamation area, which used to be farmlands, is now covered with 120 million tons of coal ashes and becomes a huge pollution source. [Xinhua]
