A heavy hailstorm, the worst in a century, hit Tiechang County in southwest China's Guizhou Province on March 12, 2013. The hail kept battering the county for about 30 minutes on late Tuesday with the largest hailstone measuring seven centimeters in diameter. According to a rough estimate, the hail has caused direct economic losses of 14.73 million yuan (2.37 million U.S. dollars) in the county. [Photo/Chinanews.com]
