Fishing ban starts in China's Xiangjiang River

Fishing boats are anchored along the bank of the Xiangjiang River, in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province, April 1, 2013. A three-month fishing ban on the main stream of the Xiangjiang River, linking Yongzhou City and Yueyang City of the province, began on the noon of April 1, in order to protect fishery resources and keep the bio-diversity of the river.
