Four workers were killed in a landslide triggered by torrential rains in Shunchang County, southeast China's Fujian Province, on Aug. 19. They were working on a highway when the disaster happened, according to local authorities. Heavy downpours have been battering many parts of Fujian since mid-August, leaving many crops damaged and causing road journeys and train services disrupted. [Photo/CNS] |
