There are two things you must know. First, in the world of pandas, friendship matters! Second, if pandas get depressed, give them a TV set and let them enjoy TV shows. A giant panda named Sijia suffered from mild depression after her friend, another giant panda called Meiqian, was sent back to her home in Ya'an, Sichuan Province, on March 31. To raise Sijia's spirits, zookeepers installed a lot of play equipment for her to use. They even installed a TV! Thanks to the TV, the panda appears to be feeling her normal self again.
