Two lionesses stare into the distance at the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. The Masai Mara National Reserve is a large game reserve in Narok County, western Kenya. It is named in honor of the Maasai people, the ancestral inhabitants of the area. Masai Mara is globally famous because all of the so-called "Big Five" - Lion, Leopard, African Elephant, African Buffalo, and Black Rhinoceros - can be found here. More than 470 species of birds have been identified in Masai Mara. [Photo/CRIENGLISH.com / Xing Yihang]
