Yes. All deputies to the National People's Congress are subject to
supervision by the electoral units that elected them. Such
electoral units have the right to recall deputies they elect.
An
NPC deputy may hand in a note of resignation to the standing
committee of the people's congress in which they were elected. If a
deputy's post becomes vacant for any reason during their term of
office, the electoral unit which elected them may hold a
by-election to fill the vacancy.
