Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said in Beijing Tuesday only under the
leadership of the Communist Party of China and by continuing reform
and opening-up can China realize prosperity.
Wen said "China now faces a historic period for development,"
adding he will do everything possible to live up to the
expectations of the people.
