Adjust font size:

President Hu Jintao left Nairobi for home on Saturday after concluding his three-day state visit to Kenya.

During the visit, Hu and Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki held talks and agreed to make joint efforts to further promote long-term, stable and reciprocal bilateral cooperation in various fields.

The two presidents also attended a signing ceremony for bilateral cooperative documents covering economy, trade, culture and education.

Kenya is the last leg of Hu's five-nation tour, which has already taken him to the United States, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Nigeria.

China and Kenya set up diplomatic relations in 1963 and bilateral trade volume last year amounted to US$475 million, up 29.7 percent year-on-year.
