One Killed, 2 Missing in Harbin Downpour

A sudden downpour claimed one life and left two others missing at 3:00 PM on Friday, in Hulan District, Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, according to local government official.

Fu Fengzhi, an official with the District said that a 20-minute-long downpour mixed with hails caused 70-mm precipitation, which made 3 houses collapse, 80 houses flooded, and 25 houses in dangerous condition.

Fu noted that a disaster relief group has searched for the two missing people.
