Preventing AIDS in Henan

Central China's Henan Province is stepping up the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Children in local schools will be taught knowledge about preventing the spread of the deadly virus, lessons and lectures will be given to farmers in poor area and posters on AIDS prevention and condom usage will be placed in public entertainment areas.

Other aid include financial support to assure minimum standards of care and education aid to offspring of AIDS patients.
