China's Ministry of Public Security has issued nationwide arrest
warrants for two people wanted in connection with buying and
selling pirated DVDs.
Police in north China's Tianjin Municipality seized 180,000
pirated DVDs and have accused Sun Xuemei and Zhang Li of buying the
DVDs in southern China's Guangdong Province and attempting to sell
them in Tianjin.
Police describe Sun Xuemei, as a 29 year-old woman who is 160
centimeters tall, with short hair. Her registered residence is
Tiantai Road, Hebei District, Tianjin Municipality.
Police say the other suspect is Zhang Li, male, 32, who is 172
centimeters tall, with a crew-cut haircut. His registered residence
is Wujiayao Road, Heping District, Tianjin Municipality.
Police have also released the identification numbers of the two
suspects who they say speak with a Tianjin accent.
The ministry is appealing to the public for any information on
the suspects' whereabouts and have offered a 10,000-yuan reward for
information leading to their arrest.
